Got a vacation on the books? We happily welcome your pup into our home while you’re off on your adventure. It is our privilege and mission to provide your pup with an environment that feels like home away from home. Unlike a typical boarding facility, your dog gets our undivided attention in a home environment; they keep their routine and a calm nervous system, and you keep your peace of mind!
Leaving the house for a bit longer than you're comfortable leaving your fur baby all by their lonesome? Not a prob. When you book a drop-in visit with Smiley Steps we make sure your pup gets some love and attention while they await your return. This includes getting ample time outside, a meal if needed, and at home play!

Smiley Steps is me, Maddie Mondshine — a life-long animal lover with a sweet spot for shmuppies (an endearing term my sisters and I use when referring to le pups).
After nearly a decade of professional dog walking and boarding through Rover (star sitter status, I might add!) and word of mouth, I decided it was about time I made it official. And thus, Smiley Steps was born!
Nothing brings me more joy than caring for these precious creatures, and the fact that over half my camera roll is shmups shows it. I am dedicated to providing quality care for your pup and quality communication for your peace of mind. And when I’m not hanging with the pups, you can find me makin’ art!
